While I'm quite aware that this message board is supposed to be exclusively about martinis, I'm gonna venture into area we've all laughed
about in the past......faux martinis, or as someone has coined them, "martinots".
I've been asked to come up with a martini-like drink to be called a "Piranha". Unfortunately, I have no inkling what its contents should be, so I'm hoping some of you can help me with suggestions. There are no restrictions on what can be used in the drink, except that it has to be served in a martini glass.
The challenge comes from a friend to whom I sent a picture of a filled martini glass with a goldfish swimming in it and a wide eyed cat looking at it and trying to figure out how to get at the fish. Sorry, but I can't get the image to show here.
the old codger (who hopes his request brings forth some original thinking)
